The foundation, not a feature

Local-first, by default.

No account needed to get started. Everything you enter into Savvy — income, bills, every expense — stays on your phone unless you ever choose otherwise.

The shift

Budgeting apps guilt you.
Savvy just does the math.

The old way

Budgeting apps

  • Dozens of categories to maintain
  • Red warnings when you go over
  • Spreadsheets you abandon by week two
  • Tells you what you did wrong
  • Your data lives on someone else's server by default
The Savvy way

One calm number

  • One number, updated for you daily
  • Overspend today? Tomorrow adjusts — no drama
  • Set up once, in under two minutes
  • Tells you what's safe right now
  • Local-first — nothing leaves your phone by default
How it works

Three steps. About two minutes.

No linked bank accounts required to get started, no lengthy setup wizard.

Your data, your export

Free CSV export, anytime — no strings attached.

Calm by design

No streaks, no shame badges, no notifications about your coffee habit.

On the roadmap

What's coming next.

Savvy launches lean on purpose. These are next, once the core is solid.

Goals connected to your daily number

Contribute to a goal straight from your daily number, and watch your number flex around the progress.

Next up

A second widget — your number, on your home screen

Today's widget logs expenses. The next one shows your safe-to-spend number at a glance, no app open needed.

Questions

Good to know

Is this just another budgeting app? +

No category-by-category budgeting here. Savvy gives you one number — what's safe to spend today — and handles the math behind it automatically.

What happens if I overspend one day? +

Your daily number simply recalculates for the days remaining. No warnings, no guilt — it just quietly self-corrects.

Do I need to link my bank account? +

No — you can log expenses manually from day one. Bank sync may come later, but it's never required.

Where is my data stored? +

By default, right on your phone. No account, no cloud sync, nothing uploaded. If optional cloud or sync features arrive later, they'll always be opt-in and clearly disclosed — never silent, never required.

When does it launch? +

Savvy is targeting a late-2026 launch on Google Play, Android first. Join the beta below to try it before then.
